I founded McGinnis Made with one mission: help local businesses grow using better websites and smarter marketing. That mission hasn’t changed — but we have. We’ve evolved into McGinnis Creative Group (MCG), a bigger team built to deliver the same big city results with small town care. Everything we do, we do to make things better.

Ben McGinnis started the business in 2020 in Columbus, Ohio, under the name ROOM 116 — a small operation built on one idea: local businesses deserved better websites and marketing than they were getting from templated agencies and freelancers who disappeared after the invoice cleared.
As the client list grew, so did the name — first to McGinnis Made, then to McGinnis Creative Group (MCG) as the team expanded to match the work. Today MCG is headquartered on Market Street in Steubenville, Ohio, about 30 minutes from Pittsburgh, with clients across the tri-state area.
